We are looking for a structural engineer (industrial/civil level) keen for an all-round and variated package of tasks. Main activity is structural calcs. Next to that you will also have contact with the clients, produce calculation notes, visit the building site and attend structural meetings with architects/clients. Principal tasks/responsibilities: • design & engineering of glazed applications (façades/curtain walls, parapets, glass compositions, walkable glass, etc.) • design & engineering of structural glass applications (3D glass structures e.g. bridges, swimming pools, stairways, pavilions, etc.) • production of calculation notes • project management/follow-up

Profile:

• bachelor/master's degree in structural engineering (construction - industrial/civil level)
• language: English on a professional level • international mindset: you will work on international projects and will also get in touch with people in an internation environment (other languages, cultures, etc.) - international travels to conferences/fairs and for project follow-up are possible.
• no job hoppers - we look for engineers who want a long-term career with large growth potential at Vitroplena
• extra, not mandatory language skills (speak/write one of the following languages = an asset, however not required to apply): Dutch, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic
