ARQUIMEA RESEARCH CENTER is hiring a Robotics Research Engineer in Computer Vision to be located in our office in San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife - Canary Islands-).
We are looking for a person with proven experience in computer vision applied to mobile robotics. This person would take part in a really challenging project that, if successful, could revolutionise the computer vision as we know it.
Understanding how to use the existing resources, planning accordingly and adapting to an ever-changing environment are key aspects of the role and candidate.
The successful candidate can expect to be working on several layers, from dataset design and generation to the application of training algorithms and ML.
You would work as part of a model-based development process, where analysis and simulation lead way to prototypes and tests for validation and physical results.
If successful, you will have the best of the best in motion tracking, robotic camera positioning systems, optical and optomechanical rigs, illumination and workstations/HPCs.
