Thermography for non destructive testing of mechanical and structural components in composite material

  Innovative modular and customizable tool, developed by DES, which allows control of various forms of thermal excitation, functional, non-destructive testing technique based on thermography. The system is able to handle analog and digital power supplies through independent channels for amplitude, frequency and waveform. It features analog input signals for monitoring, equipped with triggering (in and out) and oscilloscope for verification of excitation, and is built to integrate with the FLIR thermocameras. The specific characteristics of the tool make it particularly suitable for the detection of defects in composite materials, widely used in the aeronautical field. Due to the ease of implementation of evidence-based techniques and Pulsed Lock-in, you get maximum efficiency in the search and characterization of typical defects or not. The versatility of the system can also perform tests also non-standard.
