Historic hotel seeks hosts and waiters
Rundhaug Gjestegård is a historic hotel located in the middle of Målselv municipality in Troms and Finnmark county, approximately 2 hours driving from Tromsø and 20 minutes from Bardufoss Airport.
The hotel is 116 years this year and has an interesting history as a popular destination for anglers from all over the world. The hotel has 22 rooms with a total of 42 beds. Rundhaug Gjestegård has preserved its historic atmosphere and every room has its own unique character. It has a large restaurant area with a pub. The restaurant serves à la carte menu and focus greatly on preserving the local food traditions.

We are now looking for experienced hosts/hostesses and waiters to greet our guests in the reception and take care of their needs during the stay. You will be working on rotating schedules with varying working hours. Weekends and holidays required.

Main duties

• Welcoming guests and ascertain their needs
• Check-in and check-out
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Seat and waiter guests in the restaurant, and monitor restaurant activity
• Ensure knowledge of menu
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, polish silverware
• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships

Desired qualifications and personal characteristics
