Functional Responsibilities
The United Nations Global Service Center (UNGSC) is a global provider for IT services in United Nations Secretariat and provides IT service for Peacekeeping missions, UN HQ, UN Agencies, funds and programs.
The ICT Specialist (Senior Site Reliability Engineer) will carry out his/her tasks within the Platform Support Unit in the Field Technology Service (FTS) at the UN ICT Facility, Valencia (UNICTFV). Under the overall supervision of UNOPS Chief Infrastructure and Operations Section in the UNGSC Valencia, Spain, the ICT Specialist (Senior Site Reliability Engineer) will oversee the Hybrid Cloud Operations team and ensure that United Nations (UN) systems have reliability and a fast rate of improvement.
This position should guide the way in optimizing existing systems, building new infrastructure, and simplifying processes and tasks through automation. We are looking for an experienced DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for hybrid infrastructures.
